A windy spring day with a joyful couple

ashley and will met at the Christian Campus House.

What started as playing board games as friends quickly turned into a sweet relationship. Together, Ashley and Will love walking around the Mizzou campus, ice skating, and the occasional friendly tennis match. They are so joyful and very excited to get married later this year!

We met up at Rock Bridge State Park (one of my favorite spots in Columbia) for an early spring engagement session. The grass had recently turned green, a few of the trees began to bud, and we found a gorgeous yellow bush that seemed to have bloomed just for us! We also ventured to the Grasslands Trail Head for a golden sunset over the tall yellow grass. It was a perfect windy, spring evening.

I like to recommend a casual and dressy look for my clients so they have a variety of looks and styles for their session. I loved the first outfits Ashley and Will chose because they were able to be playful and cute! But I also loved the second outfits they brought because it was so elegant and romantic as the sun was setting. See why it's good to have two outfits? :D
