A CRISP, FALL DAY with a sweet couple

The cold air carried soft melodies from a nearby concert, and we all laughed. Rock Bridge State Park makes you feel like you're in a national forest somewhere far from Columbia, MO. But the music reminded us our little getaway was still close to civilization. It caught me off guard to hear a band playing somewhere in the distance! Still, Kenzie and Preston walked together, hand in hand, as if they were the only ones for miles.

I observed them from behind the camera, eagerly snapping photos of their cute interactions. Kenzie's excitement bubbled and her smile grew with every photo. Preston's protective arms wrapped tightly around his bride-to-be and it seemed like all he could do was grin when he looked at her. It was very evident they love and care deeply for one another and are so excited to be married this spring!

Now I have to admit, I can be a little loud when a photo session is going well. When every backdrop is picturesque, and the couple looks like they walked out of a magazine, can you blame me for getting excited? I have a tendency to squeal with glee and sigh wistfully with every click of the camera. This was one of those fabulous photo sessions! It was an absolute joy and honor to photograph this beautiful couple.
